Ethiopian Taste of Harvest (TOH) competition lot is one of co:llab’s best offerings this summer. TOH is a coffee quality competition hosted by the African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA), and each year a panel of certified judges select top 5 coffees from each of the categories: washed, natural, honey (arabica) and robusta.
With the highest score of 88.50 in the washed category, this national champion lot was grown in Buku Sayisa in the highlands of Guji (2,340 masl). In addition to the intense florality, citrus and honey sweetness as one can find in an Ethiopian top lot, there is an overtone of ripe shine muscat that adds a layer of complexity to the cup. Fruit notes are delicate, lingering with silky mouthfeel and very clean finish. It is undoubtedly the Ethiopian gem of 2025.
